North Edinburgh Area Renewal (NEAR)
Are the people of North Edinburgh aware that NEAR in the guise of Christine Docherty has turned down a scheme in which young people would be trained in constructiopn skills.
Edinburgh South picked up the scheme and we lost out without any consultation with the community. What right does she have to turn employment down for a community desperate for jobs. Obviously she should be accountable to us not herself.

can someone perhaps answer a wider question of, what are NEAR, what do they do, and what has economically benifitted North Edinburgh from their involvement? Who are they accountable to?
Basically a waste of time and money.. and of no good to local people
