Serial bullies such as THE MUIRHOUSE BULLY regard mediation [and arbitration, conciliation, negotiation etc] as appeasement, which they ruthlessly exploit, it allows them to give the impression in public that they are negotiating and being conciliatory, whilst in private they continue the bullying.
