Friends and readers. By now the lucky punters who put their names forward for the community council will know their fate. It will be breath held to see if we are to have an election in any of the Greater Pilton wards. If not then it is business as usual, with the suporters of the ruling party taking prominence.

We hope that the community councillors have minds of their own and do not end up as talking shops for an ever decreasing Labour Party.  As they try to shore up their support in the constiuency what better opportunity than to try and dominate the community councils. It would be no suprise for instance to see friends and family of our foreign hoilday queen Elizabeth Maginnnis dominate that community council, somethings just never change.

Friends and readers we now have yellow lines on West Granton Road, well done to all involved in the campaign, but who enforces it.  We walked round there on Monday last and did not see much difference the cars were still parked were they should not be and were turning their noses up at the yellow lines. Indeed we approached a motorist who was about to park on the cycle lane, she told us she has always parked there and no one has said anything to her, so she proceeded to park and walk away.

We called the Police but they said it was nothing to do with them but they would inform the traffic division, we are still waiting. So as good intentions go the yellow lines are fine and proper, so instead of handing out gongs to those whos job it is to protect the residents get them to police it, then it just might br effective    

Friends and Readers, as you look out of your window this morning the snow is falling and looks likely to stay for a little while. So of course you will turn to your fires and  thermostats to heat up your home. Well by now you will have had your fuel bills and the glee on the faces of the utility companies will be hard to hide. They will take delight in telling you that due to circumstances beyond their control prices will have to rise, and you will have to pay.

We could go into the story of how succesive governments squandered the resources of the north sea but we wont, it is to sad a tale and would depress you. But we will tell you that the United Kingdom is a very rich country yet we have citzens who are frightened to turn the heating on in case they cannot afford to pay it, and who in the main are we talking about?  of course you already know poor working class people the very people whose backs this country was built on, and who now are feeling the brunt of their toil.

What a farce gutless politicians doing nothing but cheap talk they can afford to heat their homes, they do not worry about having to turn the themostat up oh no they just do it. What do we elect them for if they are going to do nothing but talk what are they frightened of, surely not of the utility companies,those greedy creatures who like bullys thrive on fear but will recoil if taken on face to face.

We do not want crap schemes that are a bureurocratic nightmare, the citizens want to be protected against these profiteering crooks, who would comfortably sit back and watch the weakest die through cold and fear. They would blame the government as they always do, so take them on have some back bone deliver for the people, do not just sit back in your comfortable homes well heated against the outside elements, force them to cap their prices do not give us dum excuses for doing nothing while the people suffer.

How many more winter deaths do we have to witness before the message gets home. So as you look out of your windows Mr. Chisholm and Mr. Lazarowicz spare a thought for those less fortunate than yourselves and urge your colleagues to stand up for the people they are so keen to represent and take these parisites on, people might just have a little more respect for you. Do not hide away and dodge the issue we know you are good at that, do something positive for the punters fight their corner-come on you know you can do it.

Friends and readers we have received communication from another social work centre namely Captains Road social work centre. They too are aware of the Muirhouse bully and know who he is, and staff from the criminal justice section have told us that he is trying to spread his message there to.  It would seem that he is able to force his will on to his fellow manager at said centre and get him to introduce draconian measures designed it would seem to upset the workers and place them under strain, they to then will receive a little of what the MUIRHOUSE TWO had to put up with.

We would suggest that a grievance be taken out as a way of making their feelings public, do it as a group so you cannot be picked off as individuals as the MUIRHOUSE TWO were.

Once more the bully is trying to make his presence felt there seems to be no stopping him, undoubtably this is due to weak management above him who turn a blind eye so to avoid the truth of what is going on. But the bonus of all this if we can call it that, is more people hopefully should come forward and complain about the way they are being treated, in the main by managers unqualified to be there in the first place, and only there through a flawed system. It would be interesting to know how many of these, we believe they are called community service officers have direct criminal justice qualifications and are not just trades people in a former life.

The Muirhouse bully has been shown to be unable to manage people in a humane way, only able to manage through bullying and threats, not a positive way to get the best out of staff. But as long as he gets away with it the more he will think he is right typical serial bully sindrom.

So the members of staff who got in contact with us have our full support and we will continue to publish the facts on bullying. Unfortunatly you may well be receiving or about to receive treatment similar to the MUIRHOUSE TWO do not let it happen nip it in the bud, contact your union right away, if you have a criminal justice rep speak to them with out delay. Any delay will cost you dear , if you have any doubts about that just look what happened to the MUIRHOUSE TWO.

We at PiltonSucks.com are as you must be angry that bullying is coming your way, although it is through the back door at the moment, it will soon come calling at the front door. Do not let the grim reaper of bullying gain entrance it will only do you harm.  Bullies all through history have been exspansionists and the Muirhouse bully is no different, he will try to bring his damaged mentality to you and if he shoud suceed you will have a problem identical to that which is currently being suffered by the MUIRHOUSE TWO.      

Friends and readers. With Tony Blair in his final months as Prime Minister and the Scottish parimentary elections not far away,the peoples party has reached a crossroads. You will remember when the Scottish parliment was being set up we were promised a new generation of politicians Labour would get the best talent available to take up office, what did we get the same old faces either from the local councils or M.Ps from west ministerjumping on the band wagon.

If you had applied to go on the list of candidates you would have probably got turned down unless of course you were a member of that private club that labour has with its exclusive membership. Pilton Sucks received a filled out application from a local person with excellent references yet he did not even get a reply, so much for new people.

What chance has anybody got unless they are invited from high to stand, the answer none. It is a closed shop so your best bet is to stand as an independant, hard indeed as many hurdles are put in your way not least the £1000 pound deposit you have to stump up first democracy is indeed an expensive business.

But never the less it appears that the best way to secure a community agenda is to elect a person from the community who will be answerable to the community for their actions. This is true democracy not the democracy of the party machine which tramples you into the ground, once if you are stupid enough have delivered all your leaflets and dedicated your life to the party for the election period.

No friends and readers you must not be slaves to the party machine they will gobble you up and spit you out when they have finished with you. Take your life and future into your own hands and select a community candidate to stand, at least you have a chance to set the agenda not be a victim of it.

Friends and readers. It would seem that the 3,500 consultants in Scotland are some of the main beneficiaries of investment in the N.H.S. Is it not strange that almost three years ago taxes were increased to pay for massive increases in spending on health, yet waiting lists are not any shorter in fact they are higher.

Where has the money gone, well consultants have had their pay increased from £74,660 to £93,800, but what has the poor punter received in return.If you as a taxpayer want to find out about how your money is spent in the N.H.S you have got no chance, we would have to rely to some extent on audit scotland but even then your information would be limited.

But the reality is clear, We in Greater Pilton have a hospital right on our doorstep the Western General which seems to have never ending building going on and of course a permanent traffic warden on duty to hand out tickets to unsuspecting motorists. But there is no maternity unit no accident and emergency, and those with long memories will recall Malcolm moral coward Chisholm with placard in hand standing outside the hospital declaring a fight to the death to retain A an E at the Western. Of course we all know now that was just a front to secure support to be elected as an M.P, once elected he forgot about that and it became an embarresment to him as he sucked up to the middle class trendies who dominated the local labour party at the time. Of course they have all but vanished now to better things but used the labour party to get there.

So back to the problem The Western is of little practicle use to the local punters of Greater Pilton,and in effect regardless of politicians talking up for local communitys and their need for local services the opposite has happened,isolation from services indeed we have to go to the new Royal at Little France a major journey for local punters.

Were has it all gone wrong once again the poorest and weakest of our communitys suffer while the consultants and senior managers get heathier and wealthier. The money put into the N.H.S has been misused instead of going directly into patient care it has been re-directed into non patient care. The Government in good faith invested the taxpayers money in health what they have got back is a white wash and lies.

The spirit of the N.H.S is in terminal decline the peoples party have failed to manage it properly, you cannot shovel money however good the intention is into a system which in itself is corrupt, corrupted by its insatiable desire for funding and showing nothing for it in terms of major improvements in front line patient care.

Major reform is long overdue community services should be the priority citizens being treated at their conveinence in their community by a properly funded pool which can be drawn on to provide these local services. What we do not need is over bearing and self interested politicians harping on and on about how they are delivering quality health services at the point of need. Yes indeed but whose needs certainly not the patient.

This country is well able to afford a peoples health service properly managed and funded and in the sole interests and care of the punters it is there to serve. Instead of the peoples party talking about bringing the commonwealth games to this country they should get their priorities right and look after the people that put them there.

Remember friends and readers our M.S.P all those years ago when he was just another desperate wannabee, and his stead fast loyalty to the Western , my oh my how times change and how much has he betrayed that loyalty on his ass licking way to being an M.S.P which has also taken in a period as health minister, what did he do for the Western then,same as he did before,nothing exactly as he is doing now, if ever there was a more useless person to be our M.S.P he would always fit the bill.

Mr. moral coward chisholm has done very nicely thank you very much,out of his stint as M.P and M.S.P. It beggers belief that there is no one else who could do the job, certainly no one worse. It cannot be party loyalty from the ever decreasing party membership as that lot would stab their granny in the back and not think twice about it. No it has to be other factors, no wonder members leave in droves with elected members like sleazy Lazarowicz and moral coward Chisholm we at Pilton Sucks are supprised they have any members, but then again that would not matter,these slime balls always get on usually on the backs of others and always only to benifit themselves.

No Friends and readers our N.H.S is not safe in the hands of people like this and will never be, it will continue to decline untill they get their way, which is to make sure as many punters as they can force go private and leave the declining N.H.S to pick up the also rans and charity cases not unlike the American system, make no mistake that is were we are heading under Labour and they have to be stopped at all costs ,otherwise my friends in a short time you will not have an N.H.S to speak just memories of what it used to be like, well for the priviledged few anyway.

Friends and Readers it would seem if the Evening News is to be believed that the counci is waking up to the fact that they have a massive problem with bullying. The rev councillor ewan aitken has spoken and like the sermon on the mount only less eloquent has told us what we have known for some time that bullying exists.

We know that what are you going to do about it.We at Pilton Sucks.com have highlighted the problem of the MUIRHOUSE TWO and the bullying they suffered, if the councillor is serious then why is the Muirhouse bully still in post when the evidence against him is substancial and the practice at Muirhouse social Work centre warrents an outside investigation not an internal assessment, he shoud be concerned about the cover up that is going on, to deflect away any blame on the bully, why when so many people know who he is that the council do nothing, he is well known for his behaviour outside in the community treating people as though it was something he stepped in

We at Pilton Sucks.com will happily let the councillor have the evidence, we also have access to taped evidence where the bully is clearly heard verbally abusing a member of staff on more than one occassion. So there is nothing to stop you asking for a full outside investigation into the dreadful events at Muirhouse which have left two members of staff out in the cold and being made to feel they are guilty not the Muirhouse bully.

So far we have had nothing from the social work department about the MUIRHOUSE TWO or anybody else who has suffered bullying in the workplace, but we would like to remind the muirhouse bully -WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE and so do many others,you will not get away for ever no matter how much your managers cover up for you, you may have pulled the wool over their eyes but you will not fool us, you will be punished for your dreadful behaviour and rightly so.

You might be confident in your web of lies but you will trip up after all you are a serial bully and you cannot stop it is not in your nature, if you cannot bully your own staff because you are being watched you will try and bully elsewhere, but we are watching you and you will be found out others will come to realise the truth and support the MUIRHOUSE TWO they had the courage to come forward and it may well we hope open the floodgates for other victims to come forward.

Pilton Sucks.com is asking if there is anybody else out there and we know for sure there is who has had a run in with the muirhouse bully to come forward and tell your story, do not be afraid the MUIRHOUSE TWO lead the way they have brought what has been known for a long time out into the open they cannot be deserted, they have to be supported, we as a society cannot and must not tolerate workplace bullying we have to out these bullys and remove them so they can never again harm anybody.

We detest bullying as most people do we want the bullys shown the error of their ways and made at the very least to compensate their victims in some way. We hope the muirhouse bullys days are numbered, the pressure will mount for a full investigation into the events surrounding the MUIRHOUSE TWO the bully must be brought to account for his actions. REMEMBER WE ARE WATCHING.  

 Friends and Readers.This months NEN      is now available and upon reading it we were astonished to see two pages 6 and 7 devoted entirely to our rulers. Now as we read through their words of wisdom it would seem that this community is mistaken in thinking that we have any kind of social or economic problems.

In fact it would appear to be if you are gullible enough to believe it that all in the garden is rosey, and as long as we are fortunate enough to have the three stooges Hinds Fitzpatrick and our queen of foreign holidays Elizabeth Maginnis lording over us we can sleep soundly in our beds.

Somewhere they forget to mention about the appalling unemployment in the community the bad housing the state of the streets and pavements the poor health of some of our citizens due amongst other factors the low standard of living they have to endure. It is no use painting a pretty picture for after 20 years of local authority rule our Labour masters have let us down badly and should be honest enough to admit it and stand aside to allow others to try.

But oh no they will not give up, greed is a terrible thing and all three have been infected with it so the people will have to stand up and be counted and throw them out. Pilton Sucks. com believes with a growing number of people that a community candidate or candidates should come forward and show these lame ducks a clean pair of heels, in fact it is now clear that after 20 years of blaming somebody else they have failed to deliver the goods.

They have failed us on employment , they have failed us on housing, they have failed us on being honest, and of course they have managed to exclude the community from having any involvment in the waterfront development, the peoples party excluding the very people they pretend to represent.How much more do you think this community will suffer before they say enough is enough for gods sake go.

And of course or communitys saviour the knight in shining armour Mr. personality himself Malcolm moral coward Chisholm who would sell his soul to stay in his constituency seat, He should be ashamed of himself, instead of patronising the punters with his condisending attitude and middle class aspirations, he should get off his ass and do something to help solve this communitys problems, but no just sly underhand sniggers and boring speeches telling us what a wonderful job he is doing, so wonderful in fact that we should be jolly grateful and bow down in his over bearing presence.

What a bunch feeding off each other frightened to do anything positive just in case it does not go down well with the ever decreasing membership of the party.

Whos left, of course Mark Lazarowicz all things to all people not a person to be trusted even less so than the other four wasters. How often have the punters in Greater Pilton ever seen Lazarowicz, not many he is more interested in the guardian readers of stockbridge or the cheap wine drinkers of bellvue, sleazy character do not turn your back on him.

 Well all in all they are a sorry bunch of misfits drinking the trough dry and spiting it at the punters calling it progress, yeah right,progress you lot cannot see past the next vote and we have been mug enough to fall for your lies and deceit.

But friends and readers get sense see past these plastic people and their careerism they can only get where they want to go on your backs and by god they will jump on your back at every opportunity, so do not fall for that friendly old pat on the back or the odd invite to some cheap and nasty social do where you can be put on parade to be sneered at as second class citizens by those mindless idiots who stay in a better?neighbourhood and have to put up with these working class types for an evening, how awful for them.

But they too should notforget that these working class types pay most of the taxes under labour are subject to penal levels of local taxation under labour suffer the worst housing conditions under labour have unprecedented crime levels under labour and put up with second best on most things under the peoples party. So the next time your pretensious middle class M.Por wannabee middle class M.S.P look down their nose at you thinking you will not realise because they are smarter than you, just remind them they are employed in the main by those working class types they so detest.

Friends and readers, you may have read in the Evening News recently about the trouble a mindless minority were causing. It grieves PiltonSucks.com to give your their names, Mr.Tant, Mr.Webley and Mr.Simpson.   Three complete wasters and a disgrace to this community.

Remember dear readers they are a tiny minority, they are vastly outnumbered by those that wish only harmony in the community. At last and long overdue, they have been jailed let that be a warning to any other cardboard gangsters who might want to strut their stuff.

Simpson, Tant and Webley have tried to cause havoc in this community with their unacceptable behaviour and we rejoice that at least in this case the law caught up with them.  They had been getting away with criminal behaviour for far to long and making other peoples lives a misery, and it is great news for this community that we will not see these creatures for a long time, hopefully never.

We as any other community have a right to live in peace.  Heavens knows we get very little else here, so living in peace is something we cherish.  Now if it should be that you hear calls in the community that, so and so, is innocent pay no attention the three of them are as guilty as hell and deserve everything they get.  Good ridence to bad rubbish, halfwits like that only bring communities down.

It is long overdue that those who wish to do only good for their community come forward and isolate further those that would do us harm. There is no place in society for thugs, drug dealers or any other kind of moron who wishes to make a name for themselves, it is not something to be proud of, it is to be condemed and banished from our society.

So Tant, Webley,and Simpson you and your kind are not wanted in this or any other community and have no constructive part to play, only to vanish and never be seen again, that would be the only thing this community would want from you.

Friends and readers. As you know we at PiltonSucks.com are running an anti-bullying in the work place campaign. To that end we arranged to sit down with an expert in that field to get an insight into the state of mind of a victim of bullying.  Here is an eye opening insight into what we found out.

We spoke to Anna about her experiences of dealing with victims of workplace bullying and she agreed to give us an overview of some of the problems.

Anna told us that the victims reactions come in different forms but the most common link between them is that they perceive they have been the problem such was the effect bullying had on them.  Victims felt guilty about being bullied and also had a feeling of isolation, that nobody cared and life had become meaningless.

This she said was because they had been a single target and all the bully’s energy had gone into bullying them. Once she got them to open out it was pointed out to them that this in fact is a normal reaction and that the bully deliberatly set out to achieve this, belittleing them sometimes in front of colleagues other times when they were on their own but the agenda was the same maximum damage to the victim.

Usually she would meet the victim after they had visited their G.P. who had refered them.  The victim may be suffering from stress and/or depression and may even feel suicidal, such was the effect of long term bullying. The G.P may have also precribed a course of medication which could in a lot of cases last up to six months. She would see the victim possibly once a fortnight to council them and try to get the victim to open up and relate to her their experience. This can often be difficult as it has been a traumatic experience and the victim can easily retreat into themselves.

She told us that she would try to get her patient to lead a normal a life as possible telling them not to hide away but to continue onas per usual. This she said honestly was easier said than done. She recalled one patient who liked sport but was afraid to go outside the house, she encouraged him to carry on and not to let the depression get a hold, the medication would help and they did not have victim of bullying printed on their forehead.

It is difficult for other people who have no experienced bullying to comprehend just what kind of effect it has on victims and how it can change their whole perception of life. What once might have been a happy go lucky person was now a shadow of that and life would have to be rebuilt.

She went on to tell us that employers have to recognise that bullying is a real problem and deal with it head on, much of the material we have already posted on this site. Anna felt that employers were only to keen to blame the victim as this was the easier option and this meant not having to confront the bully who was probably a colleague of theirs.  Nevertheless it had to be dealt with before an explosion occured and somebody died as a direct result of bullying. Certainly there have been deaths where bullying was suspected but never proved, so she felt government had to step in to ram home the message that bullying in any form was unacceptable and would be dealt with severely.
