Friends and readers. The Granton Information Centre in West Granton Road is offering Employment Law Training for Management Committees. This we fully support,but we add one small comment, when training these committees put workplace bullying on the agenda, this is an important issue and must be included if it is to have any teeth.
Commuinity projects like the GIC play an important role in community life and are deserving of all our support. We to at Pilton sucks.com are well aware of a need for management and staff to be made aware of their rights,and as a result of our campaign against workplace bullying,we have access to legal support and are advised as neccessary.
Human rights are a corner stone of our democracy and are to often abused with out reply,so this initiative is one which we fully support and is long overdue. We at Pilton Sucks.com will criticise were we think wrong is being done,but we will also support were constructive work takes place.
The GIC may well be opening a can of worms, but if they are being true to themselves they can only do good for this community. So we would ask Management Committees accross the community to think seriously about taking up the offer of employment law training,if they do like us they will find a whole new undiscovered world opening up in front of them.Â
