It would seem after the meeting which was held between Unison full time officials and personal from social work,fabrication is the order of the day.
The meeting which was held on Friday 25-08-06 was more of a threat to force through radical changes in the job discriptions of many of its staff. This of course is a gun to the head by any other name.
The meeting was also told of an overspend of millions of pounds,so as a result holiday entitlement would be looked at to,in an attempt to further turn the screw on staff.
Meanwhile,as all this was taking place, threats of dismissal were made against one of the Muirhouse Two. Carry on we will see you in court.
The question was asked as to why the Muirhouse Two were being victimised further,and the cowardly bully was seemingly untouchable. The answer, a ridiculas one,was not enough staff to cover any possible suspensions. Rubbish absolute rubbish.
Oh yes, well ask yourself why. Edinburgh and Pilton sucks are on the case,you will not escape justice,not ever, never.
As more and more staff become aware of what happened at Muirhouse Social Work Centre,so their disgust becomes apparent. A tissue of deceit and lies to cover up behaviour so dreadful it would bring tears to your eyes.
Bullying is a crime there is no other word to describe it,so we will not try. What we will do along with the growing army of people who are coming on board, is to block off avenues of escape for those who try and sneak under the wire and pretend nothing happened.
We believe what happened in Muirhouse was a travesty and disgrace to Edinburgh City Council. So whatever dirty tricks and PR stunts are pulled there is no hiding from the facts. The truth will come out no matter how long it takes,and when it does,many will breath a huge sigh of relief.Â
