Review.

Pilton Sucks is going to have a weekly review of events, and any additional tit bits which may be of interest to you.

Well this week you lucky punters The Labour group rejected leftie Lizzie and Tory Davies and plumped for help from god in the shape of the Rev Ewan Aitken,so all your problems are over as devine intervention will now be the order of the day.

Also this week we seen the demolition of the flats in West Granton Road,to be replaced by guess what, over priced shoe boxes -any other guesses.

The festival is still with us are as the luvies, which does of course include Bill Baillie Fitzpatrick, who was to be seen going from one freebie to another, representing of course the punters in his ward[and we dont think]

Her most Gracious eminence Auntie Lesley with the colegate ring of confidence,is torn between her love of sunny Muirhouse and carpet bagging her way to the East, difficult choice, but one we are sure auntie Lesley will do much soul searching about and of course how much better she will be off money wise, not to difficult a choice then.

The schools are back and the little darlings will turn their attention to the learning process, thats if the teachers have the time in between form filling. But at least the over pressed parents will get a break, from all the moaning and groaning and the im boared routine.

The Waterfront saga continues to rumble on with no sign of the promised local jobs or any indication of any to come. There are stories of discontent amongst those in the know and we wait with interest to see what happens.

We will certainly wont get any information from the NEN other wise known as the Non Enlightning News, wouldnt want to upset their political friends.

So we trundle into another riviting week full of interesting news and tit bits. We may apply to the Pilton Partnership for some funding and buy out the Non Enlightning News,we may as well, at least with the Pilton Sucks News, you would certainly not get politicians splashed across the front page or any other page for that matter. It might make them be more vigilant at their surgeries.

So as the city centre party winds down for another year and the poorest in our communties pick up the tab there is one small consulation, your friend and ours comrade Fitzpatrick will be back amongst us to tell us all how wonderful it all was and how much we missed, and how great it is for the city.Yes Billy for the centre not for us plebs in the cheap seats.
