Scrap
Friends and readers you may have noticed on your travels a vandlised car in Boswall Parkway. It has been there for over a week and nothing has been done to remove it. In this modern world of ours you would think it would be simple for the police or whoever else does these things to have it removed.
But dear friends it is after all only Granton not Barnton or our other rich neighbours in Crammond.
You can bet your life if it was lying down at the Waterfront development if would have been moved, couldnt have those nice overpriced shoeboxes being blighted by such unsightly objects like tanned cars.
So Councillor Fitzpatrick it is in your ward get it shifted and try not to use the old it has nothing to do with me excuse.
This is not a dumping ground it is were people try to live their lives,we rely on our noble rulers to ensure that happens,so if we cannot get them to use their influence to rid the community of such unsightly items like stolen and abandoned cars which are then vandlised, what chance do we have if a bigger problem besets us-oh yes and about the Waterfront.Â

no wonder noone takes this site seriously, have you even read the news article you just published?
from your article, it comes across like the role of local councillor is to walk about until he sees rubbish, then remove it. i think this is up to the community to call in these things when they see them, not solely a councillor who may or may not have been about for the past week. if you have mentioned it to him and he has done nothing about it, then fine, but you have not told us that.
maybe the people of cramond or barnton, just pick up the phone, thats how it gets cleaned.
come on, wee bit common sense would have helped.
