from your article, it comes across like the role of local councillor is to walk about until he sees rubbish, then remove it. i think this is up to the community to call in these things when they see them, not solely a councillor who may or may not have been about for the past week. if you have mentioned it to him and he has done nothing about it, then fine, but you have not told us that.

maybe the people of cramond or barnton, just pick up the phone, thats how it gets cleaned.
