Loads Of Money
 Well it is nearly that time of the year again when the xmas extravegances roll into town-well the city centre anyway-and all these millions of pounds we are told comes with it. Has anybody actually asked where all this money goes and who gets it. Certainly the deprived communities do not see any of it,but we in Greater Pilton are more fortunate than most. We are blessed with two of the cities finest.
Ray joined up Harris the Telford college supremo and Dave fatboy Hewitt who as you know gets all the jobs available in the community and some.So where does all these vanishing millions go and who gets them. Well our rulers trot out that tried and trusted excuse of it creates and maintains employment okay but where does the rest go and who gets it.The deprived communities of Edinburgh see little or none of it as most of it stays in the city centre and in the hands of those greedy big businesses who employ cheap foreign labour and keep the rest,arent they good to us and we do not even apreciate it.
So the next time you read or hear how many millions this city receives from the various shindigs it puts on,ask why we still have high unemployment in the poor communities of Edinburgh why we have post code education,why the streets and pavements are so bad,why is there still bad housing,why with all this money coming in and all the taxes on top that we have to pay,why oh why is communities like Greater Pilton still living from hand to mouth. Dosent make sense does it,until you realise the missing millions reaches only a few and the rest can lump it.
Maybe all these jobs Dave fatboy Hewitt gets needs public funding and so thats where some of the missing cash goes,the rest well it might get recycled into private pockets certainly not public necessity. It really is a farce that we fall for the same old lies when the truth is stareing us in the face. We are just the also rans the moaners who complain about their lot. The thing is we do not moan enough and demand answers. So if you attend one of these xmas shindigs beware any money you spend will go right into some fat cats pocket.
