Whats Going On
Once again the ultra secretive Waterfront Edinburgh is in a bit of bother. It would seem that ex estates manager Nicholas Whewell is taking his former employers to an industrial tribunal.Would someone like to tell us what the hell is going on with this lot and why staff member after staff member is leaving under,it has to be said a dark cloud.
Surely it is in the public interest to be informed about this travesty of an organisation and what it is getting up to. Empress Mcginnis and nowght to do with me Fitzpatrick have an obligation to keep the people of Greater Pilton informed of happenings down Waterfront way.
But of course there is no chance of that,for if they did,the voters would surely throw them out on their ears.Such complacency from our elected members is blatent in the extreme,and serious questions have to be asked regarding their competence within Waterfront Edinburgh. The community,after all voted these people in to work in their interests,but that is certainly not happening and this mess of an organisation and all the drama surrounding it is being played out before our eyes.
Of course our rulers would rather we did not know, but fortuatly dis-enchanted members of staff have come forward to tell of the misery of working for this organisation.Yet we have the peoples party in charge,and this sort of behaviour is allowed to go on. We might as well have the Torries running the show,there seems to be no difference between them and our socialist buddies when dealing with staff moral. We should have expected more from Labour,but our two erstwhile representatives are just not at the races,empress Mcginnis is to busy with other private interests and nowght to do with me Fitzpatrick,just seems to let it all go over his head.
This whole shambles of a development has been riddled with holes right from the start and it seems no better now,in fact it continues to get worse,and what is their answer,shut up shop and tell the people nothing,just patronise them from time to time to shut them up,and keep their noses out of private business,which is of course above their limited understanding.
Well we have news for you. We understand more than you think,and the community or at least those who are not in the pockets of our local rulers realise all is not right and who is to blame. The blame for this debacle lies firmly at the door of our elected representatives who have encouraged secrecy and the with holding of information.
Not all of us are fools to be led by the nose and fed on mis-information,or in most cases non-information. So much for Telford College supremo Ray Harris with his bold bland statement that he was ready to join it all together immediatly. It seems our good friend Mr. Harris is much more interested in seeing his name in lights and whether he can secure a. gong or some other kind of sweetner,for his limited contribution to the community.
But we can let Mr. joined up Harris into a little but well known secret.If you dig deep into your pockets and come up with some of your hard earned dosh,and by chance it was to end up as - shall we say-a donation to the peoples party,you may find an honour winging its way to you,for services to the community.
It is not impossible,if Betty lapdog Stevenson can get citizen of the year for her services to Provest Hinds anything is possible.
But we have some constructive advice for the Telford supremo,if you really want to get your hands dirty why dont you ask for a substantial contribution from Waterfront Edinburgh so you can run real courses to help the community. If Waterfront Edinburgh and their friends offer real jobs to the community then your college can train them in the theory end of things. Let us make it even simpler for you. If Waterfront Edinburgh and associates were to employ just one unemployed person from the Greater Pilton community,say for example as an apprentice joiner you could offer the theoretical side and in your own words join it up.
So there you are joined up at last. but remember Ray you have to get your hands dirty first and cross swords with opponents of such a scheme,the same people who might find that you do not fit the neccessary criteria to receive a trinket,and you might be condemed to live as just plain old Ray joined up Harris        Â
