Idleing By
We reported to you recently,that a tennents group approached Councillor Fitzpatrick regarding disturbances outside West Pilton Gardens Housing office. This we were told is because individuals sentenced to community service were milling around outside the office unsupervised and in some cases causing disturbance. Who’s responsibility is it?Why Muirhouse social work criminal justice of course,no suprise  there then. Our local councillor took up the tennants complaint and asked Mr. Gabitas the Health and Social Care Director for an explaination. Both Mr. Gabitas and Councillor Fitzpatrick were lied to,and the tennants complaint went unresolved.
Low and behold we have been contacted by a resident of West Pilton Gardens who told us that this morning 25-03-07 a White Transit luton Van which she tells us is used by Muirhouse Social Work Centre was parked completely on the pavement which we understand is still against the law in this country right opposite her house with it’s engine idleing and the driver of this vehicle standing smoking. All this she tells us was at 9.00am in the morning.
This of course is out of order and this tennant was right to complain about this breaking of the law and the noice of the van engine idleing. Now Councillor Fitzpatrick there is another complaint from a tennant concerning Muirhouse  Social Work Centre what are you going to do about it this time. It seems last time you and Mr.Gabitas had the wool pulled over your eyes. Possibly this time you won’t be so stupidÂ
