We where beginning to wonder about whether the public had lost interest in issues as they relate to them. But this was not the case at Thursdays public meeting in Royston Wardieburn Community Centre. One of our associates John was there to cover the meeting for us and he reports that this was a good meeting and reasonably well attended.

This meeting was to explore the possibility of making sure the 32 bus was kept in service. John reported that there was some good contributions from the floor which Councillor Mcginnis to her credit did her best to deal with. It has to be added that there was no sign of Bill nowght to do with me Fitzpatrick,and he should have been there,as it was left to Councillor Mcginnis to hold the fort on her own.

There was also a Community Councillor ,George Gordon who started the meeting off outlining the case to retain the 32. In a lighter moment the chair of the meeting had asked if those making a contribution could identify themselves, during the question and answer period a lady raised her hand and proceeded to make her point,the chair intervened and asked the lady if she would identify herself,it turned out as john found out after the meeting that she was the chairs wife,well fairs fair.

So John told us all in all it was a good well structured meeting with many points made and the two panalists particularly councillor Mcginnis doing their best to answer. So Royston Wardieburn Community Council seems to be moving in the right direction and this is good news for all concerned. One disappointment was the lack of significant numbers from members of the other community councils,as this is an issue which affects the whole community,not just a section.

That apart well done to all those that took part in a well structured  and mature meeting. It shows the community in a good light and that we can be constructive even when we may feel that we are getting a raw deal. So keep up the good work and let’s have more of the same.

Remember friends and readers the clocks go forward one hour tomorrow morning,so we will have an hours extra daylight in the evening as British summer time clicks in. On the one hand that is good because we will not have to switch on our lights so soon and those robbing bastards the electricity companies which our Government fought so bravely  against to protect our interests won’t get so much of our limited incomes.

Of course the government did bugger all to protect us,so remember that as the extra hour of daylight will give the political candidates more opportunity to bombard us with lies. The Scottish executive sold us all particularly the poorest down the river with their lack of balls to take on the utility companies as they rammed us with one increase after another.

And talking of balls where was our own MSP candidate Malcolm principles Chisholm when these robbers where stealing from us. Why nowhere of course,not once did he utter one word against the utility companies who blatently stole from us. But of course he did resign again on a matter of principle. So it is perfectly reasonable to protest against us being blown to kingdom come by some anonymous person or persons who may or may not have the ability to create a nuclear weapon,and that being the case we should not be upgrading the Trident weapons system which actually does not go out of comission if at all for several years to come,so what’s the problem.

Yet it is by lack of principles perfectly reasonable to potentially let people freeze to death because they can’t afford to turn on the heating, can’t quite understand that kind of thinking. The utility companies are the real enemy,they carry the ultimate weapon that of death by greed. Why didn’t Mr. Chisholm and his political cronies put up a fight against these horrible bastards who make scrooge look like the good fairy. The weakest and the poorest were left vunerable to attack and still are by these slimey no goods.

And because these spineless politicians did not put up any kind of a fight the utility companies did what they liked,just like a bully does if he is not stopped. So when Mr. principles Chisholm comes knocking at your door or stops you in the street and asks for your vote,have your fuel bill handy and ask him what him and his lot done to protect us from these bits of paper which could be the difference between heating and eating.

As the workplace bullying scandal which took place in Muirhouse Social Work Department continues to unravel and with yet another piece of evidence in this sleazy jigsaw puzzle being put together,we have received yet another name involved in this dreadful affair.

We where given the name of John Mules who we believe to be a senior manager within the Children and, families team and a known associate of the bullys,suprise suprise. It is believed Mr. Mules took a statement from a victim of the bullys and then proceeded to rubbish it and the victim. This is sad but not suprising as everything about this case has smelled right from the start.

Once again we see cover up and abuse of a victim. The trail of evidence cannot be covered up there is to much of it,but the Health and Social Care Department are determined to try. We are told by our council source that there are more people involved in this disaster as they try to cover their tracks. We told you to look out for those involved who try to take early retirement or leave their posts for pastures new. We know Mr. Harry Robertson one of those involved is trying for early retirement,we also told you Ms. Marion Grey Manager at the infamous Muirhouse Social Work Centre has secured another post,that’s two how many more rats will try and leave this tainted ship. They can run but they cannot hide,mis-management on this scale must be accounted for and we continue to ask for an inquiry into this Centre in Muirhouse.

We understand from another source ,Unison received information last week which if true we are told is scandelous and frightening in the extreme. We do not have knowledge of what this information is but we are lead to believe that it opens up another front in this saga and reveals a sinister twist,one which may have serious repercusions. We also understand that Unison will shortly receive a written statement from a person who should have been called to speak but was not. 

Still the voices of authority remain silent but how much longer can they do so. The longer they remain silent the more complicit they look. This remains a scandal of immense proportions Which includes sucide attempts, destroyed careers,management cover ups and complete lack of intervention to deal with the culprits. Someone needs to grab the wheel of this ship which is going in completely the wrong direction.

Pilton Sucks is on the case we have spoken out on behalf of those that suffer and continue to suffer,we speak for the fair minded people who are shocked and disgusted with what went on,and what some say still goes on in this centre. Our information is reliable and has built up a picture of violence and abuse handed out to victims,and where nothing is done to stop it and punish the criminals responsible. 

We once again remind Councillor Aitkin of his statement of standing up to and fighting injustice,sounds a bit hollow at the moment.

Friends and readers you will have read about or seen comic book hero Superman,who as mild mannered Clark Kent became Superman the enemy of all that was evil. Well suprise suprise we in Greater Pilton have our own watered down version of a similar character.

Yes friends it is our own very good friend and regular sucks reader Jingling Bill nowgt to do with me Fitzpatrick,who when emerges from a phone box or some other confined space becomes the dreaded CANDIDATE the enemy of all that is good,who prowles the community in search of votes and who will lay waste to the undecideds or floaters.

The dreaded candidate will appear normal until he spies a voter within shouting distance and will then surround the unsuspecting victim and bore them to death until they agree to vote for him. Jingling Bill may not be able to leap tall buildings at a single bound,fly through the air at supersonic speed, but he will definatly bore you into submission.

As Kryptonite weakened Superman so does a voter asking a meaningful question weaken the candidate. He is ruled by the party machine and no opinions of his own are tolerated. The candidate has his own hideout where he goes to plan and execute his battle plan and in this case it is the watering hole known as Jingling Geordies. The candidate will appear at a moments notice and will even turn up at the opening of a envelope such is his desire to win a seat.

We in Greater Pilton have a number of candidates  wearing secret disguises and ready to capture your vote. We have already mentioned Jingling Bill but we are also priviledged to have Waterfront Liz who at the stroke of midnight becomes–no not the fairy princess– but the community Dracula who will draw blood to seize votes and the queen of darkness with her piercing eyes can deliver a killer bite at some distance. Along with her alter ego the blue do Christine Richard this formidable dynamic duo will leave a trail of blood behind them. 

Last in this line of less than super anti heros is Malcolm flash gordon Chisholm,whose dashing dentured smile belies his devious intention,that of trying to be an honest politician. As flash flexes his wasp like mussels and tries to sweep all before him,with his flag of principles proudly displayed on his white stallion,he gallops to the rescue of the voter in distress,you know the poor buggers who cannot make head nor tail of the ballot papers.

Flash Chisholm together with his trusty white stallion will be at your side to guide your hand to the appropriate box,where you will leave your mark,and then if by magic flash will be gone riding off into the sunset,to try and convince yet another voter that he is the real deal and not as many people think, the  damsal in distress.

Friends and readers. As the election approaches and excitement is boiling over,the community is awash with rumours,that it will not be plain sailing for the establisment candidates. Jingling Bill nowght to do with me Fitzpatrick was seen troting along Boswall Parkway yesterday,talking to himself in a very animated manner.He was counting on his fingers,could it be he was trying to work out how many votes he might get. You have only got ten fingers jingling dosen’t look good does it.

Or perhaps he was counting the days to go to electoral armagedon,or there again it is far more likely he was counting all the drinks he will have to buy in Jingling Geordies to drown his sorrows if he is not returned. He certainly looked like a candidate on a mission as he strode manfully along the road. You could practically read his thoughts as he went about his mission. How can i win,who can i bribe, how many leaflets can i avoid delivering,and i’m certainly not climbing up any lamposts.

All these thoughts and more must have sent our good friend and regular sucks reader into turmoil,as he made plans to avoid any kind of involvement in the election apart from draging punters from the street to the polling station. We think Jingling Bill should invest in a guru who could encourage him into being dynamic and upfront,and possibly even show him how to carry a ladder so he can put up his posters on the urine covered lamposts.

We do not know how far Jingling managed to get on his furious walk,we sincerly hope he stopped before he got to the edge of Granton harbour. Mind you if he fell in you could count the voters on the fingers of one hand that would jump in to rescue him. For all we know it would just have been an election gimmick and he had his one piece bathing suit on underneath his clothes,oh yes and some shit repelent to make sure he didn’t get covered in floaters,not the voting kind Bill,the other kind.

Yesterday Evening 20-03-07 George one of our associates received further information on the workplace bullying cover up at the Muirhouse Social Work Centre. The information given which is readily available from Shrubhill House,was that the manager Marian Grey has consistently covered up for the bully,our source told us that Ms. Grey was new to the job and that the bully had almost certainly taken advantage of this and indirectly intimidated her.

It seems Ms. Grey was informed privately that she had a serial bully in her charge and it was her job to deal with it. She could’nt and did’nt. So instead of dealing with this serious situation our source tells us that senior management collaberated with her inability to deal with the situation,giving a green light for the bully to carry on. Our source tells us it gets worse. We are told she suspended a worker on the word of the bully,when as we understand the service user did not wish to complain.

Incredible but true. We are told Ms. Grey is to leave the sinking ship of Muirhouse,is she jumping or being pushed after her mis-handling of this and other situations. Ms. Grey was lied to by the bully and his little cronie,she fell for it and when she found out what was really going on,she was to frightened to deal with it,and a serial bully can smell fear.

So another name enters the arena of cover ups and deceit First Harry Robertson, a manager based in Leith and a close associate of the bully over a long number of years. Now Marian Grey an ambitious person over keen to impress, inexperienced and ripe for the bully to con. George tells us that there are more people involved in this sleazy affair most of them are fully aware of what went on at Muirhouse,and will lie through their teeth to protect themselves and by accident the bully who is fully aware of this.

So we have another piece of the jigsaw of sleaze,which includes a staff member with a football hooligan back ground, an inexperienced,which is no excuse manager,and another mamager who has a personal association with the bully,and who we are told played a larger part in an investigation than was warrented. George was told by our own deep throat that there are more names involved in this dreadful affair. A name which has been given to us a couple or more times,and who could well know a lot of what went on at this infamous centre is a Ms Muriel Sleith,we know nothing of this person but George was informed that she was manager of the Muirhouse centre for a while and was someone of strong character and unlikely to be intimidated by anyone.

Was or has Ms. Sleith been spoken to about what went on behind closed doors in Muirhouse, it is likely that Ms. Sleiths information would be more valid than the bullied Ms Grey. It is possible that Ms. Sleith is another part of this jigsaw. We will try and go further back to see what skeletons are hidden in this dirty cupboard. If anybody knows who was manager before Ms.Sleith let us know. yes the bullying almost certainly goes back some way.

As the Muirhouse centre continues to smolder our local rulers Messers Fitzpatrick,Hinds and McGinnis just fiddle away as if nothing is happening and they can be re-elected without having to lift a finger to intervene in this travesty.

Pilton Sucks and much of this community is losing faith with Waterfront Liz and Jingling Bill,when the chips are down they are found wanting,and these two want re-elected,they should have been de-selected. But however we have these two till May at least,so how long can they sit and twiddle their thumbs while a major scandal unfolds before their eyes. And it is no good saying you did not know that would be a blatent lie,or any other paltry excuse like the famous nowght to do with me,slight of hand.

How long can it be now until the papers get a real hold of this story,and ask serious questions which our noble rulers are unable to answer. We advise action now as one or two newspapers think we are on to something,and we will have no hesitation in naming Fitzpatrick and Mcginnis as co-conspirators in this dreadful mess. And prada Hinds dosen’t escape either just because she is running away to pastures new.

How was this mess allowed to decend into chaos. Only now are names starting to leak out, such was the secrecy in which this whole terrible mess was shrouded in. And what for we ask. To protect a small minded waster of a thug,a common bully who should have been sacked years ago. No this little nothing is just a cog in a wheel of corruption where the truth is at a premium,and victims are made the scapegoats.

The trade union Unison have a moral and ethical duty to get this mess sorted out and not hide away behind paperwork. We would assume that the union lawyers are on to this,anything less would be a joke. While we are at it, exactly what is Unison doing. We would expect them to be on the case,nothing less is acceptable.

As the victims of the bully mount up and pressure starts to demand an inquirey into the mis-management of the Muirhouse centre,who will be next to run for cover? who at the moment is trying to escape. We understand that Marian Grey who kickstarted all the mess is leaving or has left the sinking ship,we now understand Harry Robertson another who covered up wants early retirement. We now understand that a senior manager based at the new Waverly Court offices and is directly involved is leaving Criminal Justice line Management,we believe his name is Brian Chartham, and he was aware of dis-content at the Muirhouse Office some time ago.

So we have another piece of the sleazy jigsaw Ms. Grey,Mr. Robertson, Mr.Chartham and Ms. Sleith,and of course our do nothing politicians,Fitzpatrick and Mcginnis.

It is building into quite a picture and who or what will be revealed when this jigsaw is complete. A number of people out there already know. 

As the inevitable letters come popping through the door asking for cash to fund part or all of candiates election expences,we ask do we get value for money. On the bright side we are not forced to give anything so our elected members can continue to rule over us. The darker side of course is the covert threat that if you don’t give dosh the other side might win. SO WHAT.

It may be worth while for instance if Bill nowght to do with me Fitzpatrick asked Jingling Geordies for money,he spends enough of it in there. Or what if we asked our friend and regular sucks reader to do some magic tricks to earn dosh like disappear but forget to come back.  Lesley prada Hinds could auction some of her designer gear mabay even sell it on e-Bay. Or she could have a stall in the community somewhere,like say the Muirhouse shopping centre,it would be sure to go done well with the locals.

And what of our pal Lizzie Mcginnis, why not start a bus leasing company,God knowes she has enough of them,she could bus everybody to the polls—–oops sorry that’s not legal is it. But never mind Liz, ex Tory leader Christine Richards and election agent for both Jingling and Lizzie can call on her Tory mates to donate a few quid,they behave like Torries anyway. And since weasel Jackson has more than enough blue rincers to guarantee a seat,he won’t need the dosh. So heads you lose tails you lose,we all lose no  matter who wins,the punter always gets stuffed. 

After our report yesterday of evidence in the Muirhouse Social Work bullying case being sat on and not acted on, we were given the name of the person concerned from our council source.

Mr. Harry Robertson,a manager in criminal justice who we believe is based at the centre in the Kirkgate in Leith,was given a report which strongly suggested that bullying had taken place while an investigation was taking place,this bullying was carried out by the person being investigated.

We ask why was this report not acted on? why was it covered up,when it should have been made available,who is Mr. Robertson protecting?it couldn’t be the bully could it,after all their association goes back many years to Alva Street,Oh yes we know about that as well,and we now have serious reservations that Mr. Robertson was allowed to be involved with an investigation where he knew the bully and has done for a good number of years.

Yet again more sleaze comes out of this whitewash and farce,the old pals act coming into play,and justice takes a back seat to protect the asses of impotent management. So why was Mr. Robertson when told of further bullying at Muirhouse by the same thug not willing to do anything with this important development?Why did Mr.Robertson not move mountains to make sure the bully was brought to account for his behaviour?Mr. Robertson cannot deny he is well acquainted with the bully and over a long period of time.

Surely UNISON must jump on this witholding of evidence,the witholding of evidence which would have made clear what was going on in the Muirhouse Centre and who was responsible. Once again we get another piece of this sleazy jigsaw and fit it into place. Our council source tells us that Mr. Robertson knew what was being said about bullying was almost certainly true,but may well have been presurised into making sure that any findings did not paint the department in a bad light.

The bully is still at large for the moment because of very poor management and lack of leadership. This may well give the green light to other small minded thugs who fancy their chances. The Health and Social Care Department have an opportunity to clean up their act and show that workplace bullying and the thugs that thrive on it have no place in the workplace. These very same no-necked morons would never be employed anywhere else,they are simply thickos who have to bully to impress and control. This Department has allowed bullying to thrive particularly at the Muirhouse Centre,and failed in their duty to both catch and sack the bully and his assistant and make sure that measures are put in place to prevent this type of thugary happening again.

We are beginning to see the outline of a major coverup,we are piecing together the events which lead up to this whitewash of an investigation. We now know without doubt that serious bullying took place at the Muirhouse Social Work Office. We now know of the part played by the manager of the centre at the time. And now we know evidence was covered up. How long do these people think they can get away with it. We have also reported to you about a member of staff involved with this bullying who has close links to the CCS[capital city service] Hibernian football casuals.

This member of staff knew and was involved in supporting bullying and is himself prown to violence as a witness has told us. So an ideal sidekick for the bully. The evidence is stacked high against the bully. He fits the profile of a serial bully who wants to control his environment,as another witness told us his attitude to women is quetionable,and still he gets away with it. But Pilton Sucks is watching  and waiting. Our community network reports to us about what they see and hear.

We know for instance that one of the tennants associations lead by a well respected  member of the community complained to a local councillor about the rowdy behaviour of service users and lack of supervision outside West Pilton Gardens Housing Office. It seems after this councillor took the matter up with Mr. Gabbitas,Mr. Gabbitas was not told the truth about what went on there and how long it had been going on.

Once again the Muirhouse office is caught out lying to protect it’s own skin. This office and one or two of its staff are a disgrace to this community and we do not want them here. Workplace bullying,threats and intimidation,have all been allowed due to severe weakness of management and the fighters of injustice our local elected members.

We ask ourselves this simple question How do Messers Fitzpatrick, McGinnis and Hinds sleep at night knowing they are a party to workplace bullying and allowing themselves to be bullshited into believing nothing happened,that’s if they listen at all.

We have been informed by a council source that the press are interested in running with the story of workplace bullying at the Muirhouse Social Work Centre. The cover up to protect the bully and the skins of senior management has captured the roving eye of the press and a reporter from one of the major Scottish newspapers has been in touch with Pilton Sucks asking to be briefed on this outrageous scandal.

We are of a mind to run with the story as it has implications far wider than even we anticipated. One of the questions put to us was,why did the council not intervene when another member of staff came forward with similar allegations while an investigation was on-going. Why was this member of staffs evidence not taken,who was told and why was it not followed up?We are told this member of staff has now resigned due to the behaviour dished out to him,and we are told that a senior member of staff told him his evidence could not be used because he had resigned.

So they did know about it and panicked and made a knee jerk and in-correct decision. More cover up, more scandal and more lies. Our legal advisor tells us that this person could make a sworn affidavit and it could be used as evidence. We would urge this former member of staff to do just that if he has not already done so. The stretch marks of cover up are beginning to show,so look out for people involved in this farce to be seeking in the first instance early retirement or a sideways job switch before the proverbial shit hits the fan.

We never cease to be amazed at how low management will stoop to protect their own backsides, even when they know that major wrong doing  has happened. Pilton Sucks says that we will not be bullied or silenced by any kind of small minded cowardly thugary. Quite the opposite we will stand and fight and expose cowardly bullies who prey on others to satisfy their own thirst for power and control of their environment. This travesty of justice has some way to go yet and continuing silence from those who should be doing something goes to prove there is more than just one coward.
