Election Fever
We understand that there is a bit of a buzz going round Greater Pilton at the moment. According to an activist in the Muirhouse side of the community,an independent candidate has put his name forward for election to the local council on May 3rd. We cannot confirm the name at the present time but we are told the big whisper is that local activist Fred Marinello has been asked to stand as a candidate for election.
If this is accurate information then we may just have a real contest on our hands and not just a shue in election. We at Pilton Sucks want to see real democracy in action not just the party machine candidates eating up the votes. Once again if our information is correct,GAME ON.Â
