Pilton Sucks dotCom

Well friends and readers as Greater Pilton settles down as part of the new Forth Ward,what is to become of us. Community activists must play a greater role to stop the activities of the old pals club who will infiltrate where ever the opportunity arises. Since losing their patrons at the election the old pals club have no-where to go. their careers where based on patronage and the old nod and wink mentality.

They are the snakes that went up the way while the other activists who had minds and opinions of their own where cast out and seen as trouble makers. The ladders where pulled away from them as secret meetings took place to decide who got what,and then played to look above board. Many knew this went on but had no way of stopping it,as the old pals club thought that they would rule forever.

Not so and a new dawn is upon us. The old guard will still try and command authority but it is over and not before time. This is the time for open decision making and embracing as many people as wish to take part.

Pilton Sucks has already stated that anybody who has a financial interest in a project should not sit on a board or a management committee. A financial interest is working for or managing a project,this has gone on for to long and raises suspicion that the old pals club is helping themselves and deciding who else can benifit from their generosity.

Pilton Sucks is watching closely and George one of our asscoiates will monitor any coming elections,to see what happens. George has already reported to us the dubious elections of the Royston/Wardieburn Community Council and overt political interference. This is the time to get rid of the bad smell which has lingered for far to long in Greater Pilton. We urge citizens to take  control and get involved,for if you don’t the old pals club might try to regain control,and that would be to much to bear.

So friends and readers Jackie boy is thinking of standing down as Scottish Labour leader and we are told is considering offers he has received as to his future employ. There is of course a possibility of a seat in the house of lords,but as a commited socialist he would shun that offer wouldn’t he?

While two salarys Salmond bumps along trying to show himself as a true leader the SNP bandwagon seems to have come off the rails earlier than anticipated. The lib Dems well they are just non existant and have faded into obscurity,much like their pals at local level. As for the Torries they are fast becoming a small presure group with nothing to offer and even less to say.

So where next. What happens now. Labour have been rightly dumped but the new lot have hardly set the heather on fire. Scotland was crying out for change and change they got,but that must come with action and policys to benifit the electorate. The limp dick, SNP coalition have an opportunity to end the corrupt dark days of Labour and must move soon to show the punters that they mean business,otherwise we might find the Labour lackies trying to infiltrate local groups and cause bother.

Greater Pilton has it’s fair share of local projects/groups and some of the lackies are still there and will be operated from the back to try and make sure they don’t lose out and things remain much the same. While Labour ruled these lackies had a free run and had monies thrown at projects which they favoured or worked for.

What has to be made clear by the new ruling group and as a matter of priority,is that anybody who works for a local project or who is in any way payed by a local project cannot sit on the management committee or any kind of board of directors,this would in the first instance remove the smell of sleaze which has tainted this community,and in the second instance allow others to come forward who only have an overall community interest at heart.

No political job appointments and more much more encouragement for local appointments,scrutinized by the community councils. The old pals act which openly operated in this community tainted democarcy and openess and kept the goodies in a few hands. The old pals club has lost it’s political base and will be reeling at the thought of taking a back seat. The new political era in this community has the ball at their feet,don’t let smiles and sweet talk fob you off.

It is unlikely they will get much past Councillor Cardownie who is much experienced in spotting bull shiters and as long as he keeps one eye on the prize it won’t be to difficult to spot the old guard. Alan Jackson the Tory councillor is a old campaigner who is well aware that changes are needed to reflect the political climate and as his party are in what looks like freefall he will not want to sink with the ship,and will embrace change,if it makes him look good.

As for Limp Dick Councillor and new kid on the block Elaine Morris we will have to wait and see,but not to long.

And finally the Labour rep who squeezed last place and was chair of the old pals club[forgot the name]  has a huge job on her hands to rebuild credibility,perhaps to big and it may well be the time to think about the future her own of course and quitely leave the stage pocketing the readies and sniping from the side.

As for the community more responsibility will be on their shoulders to plan how best we can take this new era forward,but beware of greeks bearing gifts it could be the old pals club trying to sneak in the back door.

So dear friends we have managed our should we say our government has managed to get the backs of the Russians up by expelling four of their diplomats/spys. So they have retaliated by expelling four of Britains diplomats/spys. What’s it all about some of you may ask,some alleged poisoning of a Russian citizen.

Yes a dirty deed indeed but how much of this posturing will help bring the perpetrator to justice. Little or none and  meanwhile we ourselves don’t look to clean with some of the dirty tricks in Iraq. But that just get’s looked over as we are of course along with the all conquering Americans perceive ourselves as liberators. By plunging Iraq into what is by any other term cival war the two chums Britain and America have managed to plunge further into chaos middle eastern politics. Murders hand over fist yet no-one is brought to justice.

Strange times indeed when war is painted as good and true and we hold up the banner of honour. The Russians must be scratching their heads.

Some of our readers have asked us,has anything been done to deal with the Muirhouse bully? As far as we know evidence has been presented and more than enough to deal with this thug,but the stories leaking from the department is that this mess is trying to be swept under the carpet.

We understand that new evidence not before seen or heard has made it’s way to Waverley Court,we ourselves have not seen this evidence but we are lead to believe that if the powers that be try to hide this one then the law will take over and end this travesty.

It seems the caring sharing Health and Social Care department could not care less for victims of in house bullying,rather protect the small minded thugs who hide behind the skirts of their masters. Cowards in the extreme these jobs worths would never be employed anywhere else such is their inadequacies,but the city are happy to have them at the taxpayers expence.

George who broke the story of the terror in Muirhouse has handed our dossier to our solicitor,who quote says ‘I find it inconceivable that this person is getting away with behaviour which is not a one off incident but a pattern of behaviour which leads to the conclusion that this department has a serial bully on their hands and it is likely they have some knowledge of this but don’t know what to do’.

We do immediate removal of this thug from the employ of the city and criminal proscecutions brought against him. We will do our best to keep our readers updated on this and other issues in this community. Keep the information coming we will do the rest. 

The beginning of this summer has been a disaster. Rain and more rain has made us all miserable as we watched the choked drains of Greater Pilton take yet another battering. Parts of Drylaw where flooded did anybody care,only the residents nobody else. Drains overflowing every where and where were the gallant knights in shinning armour when we needed them. Nowhere of course not one council drain cleaning machine was spotted in Greater Pilton as we where up to our ankles and beyond in god know’s what.

This is the cavalier attitude of our city fathers we drown in sludge while the city centre gets all the attention. Yet we pay most of the taxes and eat most of the shit. What do we pay this vicious community tax for,so the city centre can benifit. There seemed to be no blocked drains in Trinity,or Barnton,or Crammond just where the commoners live,we could not have the better people splashing about could we,that just wouldn’t do.

The aftermath of these downpours is clogged up drains and people will find they may have the pleasure of water appearing in their houses or directly outside them,mixed with raw sewage of course. Could only happen here in Edinburgh and in the schemes where the vast majority ot taxpayers live. Certainly health could be at risk if the rains come again in the torrents that they already come in,and those that benifit the most will be the plumbers who will come and sort the city’s mess out at a cost of course. Just another burden to bear for the average joe. We can add this new dampness to the already existing dampness of some of our housing stock,great isn’t it heaping misery on misery for those least able to bear the brunt and cost of repair.

We are now able to predict the wheather reasonably accuratly so the council should be on their starting blocks with the appropriate manpower to deal with the problem. Easy isn’t it well you would think so,but we will get every lame duck excuse in the book as to why it can’t be done. So while we slither in crap spare a few thoughts for the hard pressed council managers who have to sit down and think up all these bullshit excuses as to why something can’t be done and reasons for their inactivity.

We would wager that none of these sevice providers actually live in the inner city schemes,something about Nero fiddling and Rome burning comes to mind.     

Well citizens. Three months into a new administration and what earth shattering decisions have been made. There is a cobbled up attitude to the proposed tram system which it seems the majority of Edinburgh residents don’t want because they seem to realise what is plainly obvious to all except the movers and shakers that this is a disaster waiting to happen.

Overly expensive massive disruption,disruption we have got used to as we seem to have never ending roadworks which prevents the city moving and causes pain to all road users. You ain’t seen nothing yet if the trammies get their way. promises where made particularly by the limp dicks during the election campaign that they would make sure the roads and pavements in Greater Pilton would be repaired. Have they of course not so we cannot trust this lot to organise the planning of a tram system.

Our pavements and roads are still a mess and the grand promises of the limp dick candidate Elaine Morris have as we predicted come to nothing. Useless is not the word, but for all those that read the limp dick newsletter that came through the doors,great play was made of what she was going to do about the mess of our roads and pavements. Once again the citizens of Greater Pilton have been sold short,this is nothing new but trust was given that the limp dicks would do a better job than the last lot of chancers,after all they could not do any worse.

But up to now they have managed to emulate Labour’s inactivity and incompetence and the people suffer. One of the Labour stalwarts managed to scrape into last place which shows exactly what the people think of them. We don’t want them back but ammunition is given to them with the lack luster performance of the new lot.

As you know the SNP topped the poll and therefore have the overall trust of the people. it must be used wisely or the dreaded gangsters of the Labour party will sniff blood. Locally Labour is licking it’s wounds by blaming all but themselves. But face it people had cottoned on to their little game some time ago. Self interest,old pals act, jobs for the boy’s and a private members club which was closed to anybody that did not lick ass or heap praise on discredited rule.

These days are hopefully behind us and pilton sucks will have no hesitation in exposing them if they raise their ugly heads again. The day’s of a nod and a wink to get what you want are finished and those that benifited had better get used to it otherwise they can join their comrades on the sidelines. It is now done to those who have been deliberatly excluded to take up the baton if they have the energy and wipe away the taint of sleaze that has plauged this community for to long.

Look at those so called community rep’s including the elected one’s who have benifted the most and you see the real chancers,me first everyone else second and done with either a tear in their eye or a smile. This community could have done so much better but the wrong people where allowed to control events,and keep it tight making sure nothing got out and everything was seen to be above board.

It remains to be seen if the new lot can get to grips with the rot that had set in a long while back. They may get the wool pulled over their eyes or sweet talked into believing nothing is wrong and it is just a few malcontents who have a gripe. All they have to do is dig a little and find out who or what project[s] benifited the most from Labour rule,and all will be revealed. Open up the books and take a close look at what and who and you will see the same names appearing time after time. The private members club has cast a dirty shadow over this community,while taking an i’m all right jack attitude.they will try the old dodge of blending in with the changes while trying to make sure they still have a voice. How will they do that you ask? We leave that for you to work out,but we will give you a clue,listen for the yells of pain.

Have you noticed friends and readers,that we cannot move for laws telling us what we can and cannot do. The ordinary citizen is under siege from the lawmakers and cannot breath for fear of being or doing something wrong. We have known for a good while that there has been a war raging on the motorist simply because they make an easy target and a quick way of raising revenue. The police are quick to jump on the motorist and hound them to death.

Have you actually stopped and thought about just how many laws there are to trap you and the poorer you are the more the law hates you. Our cival liberties are gradually being erroded and we are becoming tools of the state. Terrorism which is by it’s very nature evil is used as another excuse to screw the average joe restricting him or her and their movements and it is sold to us by politicians as neccessary precautions to protect the citizen. Complete bullshit if these evil bastards want you they will get you and no blue suited have a go hero will stop them.

We are told that we must not offend other cultures who come to live in this country and there are laws to protect them rightly so, but we have gone over the score allowing minorities to dictate to the rest of the nation with the backing of the do-gooders.If you complain then you are a racist. We have to watch what we say in case we upset the politically correct brigade. We send more people to jail than any other country in the world and the majority are white working class.

The moment you step outside your front door if you can afford to have one,you are at the mercy of the state,a potential victim for a fine or a caution or anything else the state can throw at you. This country is now less free than at any time in it’s history,but we are quite happy to send people overseas to fight in wars that do not concern us in the name of democracy. We have to tip toe through life to avoid being fingered or caught out. If you don’t pay your taxes we will get you we will punish you we will make you suffer,because that’s all we are good for paying up and shutting up,but if you are stupid enough you can play the lottery and have a 14million to 1 shot of winning the elusive jackpot,yet another tax on the poorest as it is they who play the most and lose the most.

We have been suckered into believing that we are free,yes we are free to pay the price the expensive price, of living in divided Britain,where some can live in mansions and others are homeless. where the poorest pay the most for freedom while the rich sit back and live off the fat of the land. We have less say in our destinies and are at the mercy of the money markets who buy and sell people like second hand cars.

The people of this nation are under attack from the very people who are supposed to protect us and encourage us to thrive. We are almost like prisoners allowed out to pay our dues then put back in our boxes,oh and two weeks of the year we can have the illusion of even more freedom in the over priced shit holes of the costas.

Friends and readers.One of our friends in Muirhouse was telling us that the Muirhouse Social Work Centre bully is running around telling anybody that is daft enough to listen to him that he has got off scott free and that he is untouchable. Oh really we have it on good authority that a daming piece of evidence has hit Waverley Court,and a number of people,one in particular are convinced that he is guilty of systematic abuse of staff.

Our Social work whistle blower tells us that a number of awkward questions have been asked and the answers are a direct misuse of managerial authority and serious bullying of staff. We understand that yet another senior  manager this time we are told in Quality and standards,whatever that is,because there has certainly not been any standards or quality  dished out to the victims of this thug,has got involved,this sounds  like more whitewashing, and we at pilton sucks sincerley believe,and have said for quite some time that legal action is long overdue.

We are reliably told that yet another victim of this thug has for the sake of his health asked for early retirement,we understand he is over 60,yet this caring sharing department continue to hound him even though, he has told pilton sucks that his doctor has said he is not fit for work. This callous department should be taken to task and sued through the courts. All the victims of this thug which is now up to 5 individuals have been harrassed by the department into submitting and going away quitely. One has, and one other has retired.

That leaves three as far as we know there may very well be more. Major cover ups ,distortion of evidence, witness statements dis-regarded,medical evidence ignored,written documented evidence ignored and pals investigating pals,firghtened to say anything in case it comes back to haunt them.

One manager has spoken off the record to us,or to be exact has spoken to George one of our associates who first broke the story of torment and abuse at Muirhouse Social Work Centre. George who knowes this manager met socially in a haunt used by social work staff.The manager told George that in her opinion and what she has managed to see and hear from both service users and staff,who are prepared to talk is that bullying did indeed take place and on a regular basis and to more than one member of staff.

This manager has been employed for a long time with the Health and Social Care Department and she is angry as are a number of her colleagues that no action has been taken against the bully,and he is allowed to continue being employed never mind managing staff.

And so what is the next trick up the departments sleeve. More stretching of the truth,more twists and turns. Who knowes,but Pilton Sucks is clear and if any of the victims are reading this then we advise legal action. The little evidence we have managed to see tells us that this caring sharing department has a real problem on it’s hands.
