Turn A Blind Eye
It seems friends and readers,that the city’s chief Social Worker or is it head of quality and standards who knows,is unwilling or unable to do anything about the work place bullying which plagues Muirhouse Social Work Centre. Our source at Waverley Court tells us,that chief Social Worker Michelle Millar,who got the short straw when the other lot could not find a way out,has abandoned all hope of finding a settlement and has turned and looked the other way.
We are told that at least two complaints hit her desk possibly more and she did not have a clue what to do and has returned to the tried and tested method of clobbering the victims. This is shameful as the evidence that we are told that is available points to serious workplace bullying at the infamous Muirhouse Centre. Right from the beginning of this travesty cover up and pass the buck has been the order of the day rather than deal with this serious problem. The bully is still on the loose and no action has been taken against him or his sidekick.
Staff are now at risk in this centre and we know of at least one further member of staff who was forced to leave due to the behaviour dished out to him,what more evidence is required. The merry go round of mangerial change in this centre makes you dizzy and still no action is taken. Does it require the press to investigate this deviants behaviour,it may well do as his seniors seem to be totally oblivious to what stares them square in the face.
Pilton Sucks through our asscociate George who has been following this mess is completely at a loss to explain the lack of any kind of action taken to deal with this thug. We are told there is a mountain of evidence available to nail this bully and it continues to grow,yet still no action. Our legal advisor tells us that should this ever reach a court of law there could indeed be serious repercusions. There can be no place in the workforce for small minded jobs worths who abuse their position and hide behind every skirt they can.
Staff are not safe as long as bullys are allowed to get away with it. So Ms Millar as you sit down to your morning coffee and tie your blinkers on,remember this you had the opportunity to do something about bullying,you did nothing except run and hide,Pilton Sucks won’t.

Sofie Blakstad Head of Programmes at Citigroup & UBS, (previously at LB in early 90’s) slept her way through Lehman Brothers Investment Bankers, she concocted a story with the co-head of support business area Simon Menneer of COO of CSFB (previously ex Lehman Brothers Energy Director) to discredit the current manager, conjuring up stories to turn the bankers against that person but they were far more intelligent to see that Menneer was carving a niche for himself and opening up a can of worms for himself. When the COO left, Menneer was given responsibility for a business support unit, he abuse the trust and began a rampant spree of deceit and under-handedness, he interviewed qualified candidates (1 being his lover Ms Blakstand) and said he was undecided as to which was the best candidate, he had already decided to give her the job as she was brandishing the title of Ops Manager in the face of her manager, she then let it slip to the other candidates at the time, that she would get the post because he owed her big time.
The current manager was dismissed for incompetence, and they began a journey of positioning themselves just before the incoming COO took up his post, that same day of her birthday she and Menneer annouced that she was also taking charge of the entire department having oust the previous boss out of the role, and said that we were all to give her extra help as she was 3 months pregnant Ms Blakstad around the same time disclosed that she was carrying his baby to her close working companions. Menneer/Blakstad were unstoppable, as they went on the rampage trying to discredit her staff with her lovers backing, secretly meeting in bars during work time and shoving her 3 month old baby under her desk unknowingly to security team, until one day the fire alarm went off and a secretary reported baby cries from the offices, it was discovered that she was bringing her baby into the workplace because she was so busy trying to learn the job and at the same time destroy the people around her.
They victimised the department employees, encouraged extra marital affairs and going’s on at the expense of the client work, she elevated her followers in key position over more qualified employees, and recklessly created a year long saga of mis-management, indiscretions, bullying and racism, eventually they both were sacked, Menneer was pushed and forced to resign, he ran sheeplishly saying he wanted to move out of banking, straight into the arms of CSFB talking about the going’s on because walls have ears and he was talking about what had happening as if he was an innocent bystander. Blakstad went through a round of disciplinaries pending tribunals and later sacked the following year in May 97.
How and why would any company employ these kind of people, who made other people lives hell. Lehman Brothers swept this under the carpet destroying people careers in the process
