Reading Between The Lines

Why friends and readers would a bunch of mud slingers try to do down a charity. Pilton Sucks finds this difficult to understand, until you look a little deeper and find that all that glistens is certainly not gold. We are told that a discontented staff group are trying to rubbish the Pilton Equalities Project, the dastardly bunch, but wait a minute, anything that has Community lapdog Irene Garden as chair should be the subject of intense scrutiny.

Ms. Garden under instruction from Councillor Maginnis rubbished the Six Circle project then disappeared only to resurface as chair of PEP, My My how strange. George our intrepid investigator has found out that whilst merging with PEP the Muirhouse Six Circle Project had it’s debt wiped clean. First question who by? and was our honourable councillor in any way involved. You bet your life she was.

George also found out after talking to a former employee of the project that fraud took place within the project. Second Question Was this the subject of a police inquirey? Answer  nobody knowes or at least is not saying. How much fraud took place and who tried to cover it up? Who picked up the tab? and was the former manager ever charged with anything or in fact was he cleared of any wrong doing? Again nobody knowes or is not saying.

Was any monies given to Mr. Nicol as a package to go quitely or was he fired? Does anybody know or was it  swept under the carpet to smooth a merger with PEP. George has been busy looking for answers to this mystery and what part the Pilton Partnership played in this merger, and Ms. Maginnis’s direct involvement with the merger. What part does the spineless Don Miller guardian of the money play in all this as he hids away in his ivory tower at Waverley Court.

George has uncovered skull duggery with this merger with it seems nobody prepared to talk less they are dragged in themselves. Pilton Sucks believes that the City of Edinburgh along with the police launch an inquirey into this whole business. While Labour ran this Community of Greater Pilton together with a small band of hangers they done what they liked with no opposition.

The Six Circle mess is great cause for concern. The public interest was certainly not served only the self interest of Councillor Maginnis and her band of merry hangers on. This community has suffered contempt, deceit and lies, and we need to clear the air and get to the bottom of this seedy business.

Irene Garden’s letter [or who ever really wrote it] in July’s NEN was not factual as it stated PEP was the subject of two independent enquiries, one by the Health and Social Care Department[Don Millers employers-yes him again, and PEP’s sponsoring department] As stated this seems not to be factual if Mary Burnside’s  [NEN’s editor]investigation? is correct,as it was a senior official at the City Of Edinburgh Council on behalf of the Chief Executive who carried out the investigation.

For the editor and friend of Councillor Maginnis of a paper to state a letter sent to her ”is factually incorrect” is quite astonishing she really has to be a bit more of a lateral thinker and more objective. We know Ms Burnside has more information in her posession than she is letting on, we wonder if the name Jim Verth rings a bell. Let us briefly remind you to save any denials. It goes something like this.

Jim Verth- Head of City Wide Services. Health and Social Care. Shrubhill House 7 Shrub Place Edinburgh EH7 4Pd

Dear Jim. Remember now.

All very interesting, but I’m fedup with Gerry Imrie continuing to rake things up. He has no mental health quaulifications and is a convicted murderer who didn’t declare this to PEP and when he was found out was given a cash payment to leave. As for the Manager of six circle, he committed suicide over a year ago after a long period of clinical deppression lasting over 10 years. So no answers from him. He seemly was harressed by aDonald Miller for a considerable time although an occupational health consultant appointed by Miller wrote in a report that he should back off and his hurassment was having a direct depremental effect on Mr Nicols health..
