Changing Times
Friends and readers. The old pals act all of whom benefited from the previous local administration have suddenly gone quite. No longer can they receive patronage and the Forth Ward should see the benefits of the new broom.
Gone to ground and meeting in private to lick their wounds and see where they go now. It’s clear that some local projects received more than their fair share of resources and it is now obvious who they where. A small group of fair weather friends feeding off each other managed to somehow enlarge the portfolio of their projects and at the same time secure their own position.
This could not have happened without a helping hand and a conspiracy of silence. Everything looks above board but many in the Community knew only to well what was going on and were powerless to do anything to stop this juggernaut.
Only now have stories emerged and most of us will have read them in the Evening News. Pilton Sucks offers this up. Dig a little deeper and widen the scope just a bit and much more will be revealed. Look to see who sat on what Committee and the same names will emerge,bypass those with no financial or employment interests and you will come up with what is commonly known as the knitting circle,this term originates in Labour party circles and that is the link.
We give a further clue. Look to the projects that have this link and the answers are right there in front of you. Let us be even more frank,Anna and Helen who have looked closely at this phenomena point out that from all the data that they have gathered a small number of projects have received far more money than is warranted and it was our two associates that discovered the link between them.
This friends and readers is no mere coincidence for it has happened on numerous occasions. And now it appears they have gone to ground presumably in an attempt to ward off any criticism that may come their way.
Times have changed and the political climate is different and even the most inexperienced of people will tell you tactics have to change to suit the time. Of course some may wait it out and hope that the old pals act can be resurected,but that’s a fools paradise. More likely that they will lie low and hope any heat does not reach them.
