The Promised Land
Friends and readers. It seems our argument for local people to take control of local projects has struck a chord with some of our readers.
From the opinions gathered it would appear there could be a ground swell of discontent with the way things have been run and controlled by the Labour cabal and it’s hangers on.
Very few now doubt except of course for the die hards that local people have been deliberately excluded from employment in our local projects apart from the odd one or two.
The poverty industry in this community has,as we have said previously been good to the few to the detriment of the many. The great and the good otherwise known as the cabal and friends have milked these projects for their own benefit ignoring local empowerment and only using locals as a shield to guard their own interests.
Oh yes some local people give of their own time free of charge to sit on various management committees, but how many are actually listened to,or merely mocked and asked to conduct business with an agenda already set somewhere else.
The City administration are we hope aware of this situation which includes officials who were Labour appointments, and have what looks like deliberately tried to frustrate any type of change or progress.
This of course suits those who relish the status quo and thrive on division. Peter Strong the neighbourhood manager has not cut the mustard and should be replaced as soon as possible.
All local projects must be made to account for the amount of money paid out in salaries, and as previously stated who gets what and why.
No project should receive any funding unless at least 50% of their staff are local people.
Management committees must start setting the agendas not paid employees who only have their own best interests at heart. Each local project that receives any type of public funding should be asked to produce a budget outlining how much of that budget goes in salaries and to who.
Management committees have that right and should not be bullied into singing from someone else’s hymn sheet.
We have to add this on a personal note. For the idiot who threw a banner from the public gallery in the City Chambers at Councillor Morris with the word bitch on it,you should be ashamed of yourself, what kind of light do you think that paints us in.
Pilton sucks would like to on behalf of the majority of reasonable thinking people apologise to Councillor Morris, and condemn the idiot that was put up to do such a stupid thing.
