Even our TV programmes which have more repeats than than a Cliff Richard Xmas song are feeling the pinch as they move to remove some of the rubbish that is put in front of us.
Vastly over paid non talented presenters who believe we cannot live without them may be searching the situations vacant pages soon. The complete obscene amounts of money paid out to these non talented bums puts our own salaried elite of Forths Community projets in the shade.
The global meltdown caused by greed and stealth ,by the few will make the many suffer. When this Labour Government relaxed banking regulations it gave the green light to those who had an eye to the main chance. Coupled with our then prudent Chancellor Browns decision to sell off our gold reserves at rock bottom price left this country very vunerable to the worst of this coming depression.
So what did our Government do?Why throw money at these vultures of course and hope that it would do the trick and nobody would notice. Wrong!
The banks even after orders from it’s new owners-us- to start lending again refused and stuck two fingers up to us all and have continued to do their own thing.

Pilton Sucks in it’s own small way, offers some constructive advice which our lords and masters can do immediatly if they really want to.
Put an immediate hold on all home repossesions until the economy stabilises. Remove all VAT from fuel bills. Bring forward all the public work projects in the pipe line with an emphasis on employing those that have been hardest hit by this man made mess.
In the coming budget remove those earning and who still have a job under £15,000 out of the tax bracket completly. An immediate end to these dreadful golden hand shakes by taxing them all at 90%.

As we head towards, like rabbits caught in the headlights financial dooms day, let us all make sure that this does not become a certainty, and take the measures that will bring us back from the brink.
Are Brown and Darling the right people at this time to take positve action and put the nation ,at least back towards the daylight,at this time it seems not. We just have to hope they have a moment of inspiration and forget about looking after their own backsides.
Don’t hold your breath waiting.
