Friends and readers. With greedy bankers and corrupt politicians being exposed on a daily basis,is it any wonder that the voters are now ready to toss these vultures out of office.

Elections are coming this week and we will be asked to send MEP’’s to that other gravey train in Brussels.

Who can we trust to do the right thing,should we bother voting,what difference will it make.

Pilton Sucks believes that we must vote but not Labour,or Conservative,for these two monolithic parties have shafted us while feathering their own nests.

MP after MP are falling but they will stay till the next General Election to collect their generous pay offs.

They shoud have been sacked immediatly and by-elections called,giving the people the chance to have their say.

But no we have to wait till our discredited Prime Minister decides on a date.

It’s clear Labour are finished falling on their own sword of greed and corruption,closely followed by the Torries.

Parliament needs a radical shake up with more real people elected to office,not the privately educated twits we have just now.

Here in Edinburgh we have our own three stooges,Shagger Griffiths, Barbecue Lazarowicz, and Chancer Darling all guilty of having their noses in the trough and all in serious danger of being tossed out of office.

Never has there been a better opportunity to send a message to the big two both at the European Elections and the coming General Election,THE GAMES UP AND YOU ARE OUT.

Joe public has been conned and robbed and Joe public must now exact justice at the ballot box. Communities should put forward their own candidates with an agenda that reflects what their needs are,not some party machine telling you what you need.

Our honouable politicians have taken us for mugs for long enough and now it’s time for real change led by the communities of this nation putting forward their own candidates,with a community agenda designed to deliver real power to where it should be,not where it is.

So when you go to the ballot box on Thursday think hard about the way you have been treated by these greedy bastards and vote accordingly.

This is the first of your opportunities to have your say,make it count and throw these crooks out of office.

And when the General Election comes exactly the same,think hard how you have been robbed and vote accordingly.

Your Government in London has stolen from you and tried to cover it up,full marks to the Telegraph for outing these vultures. The opposition has done much the same and robbed you blind,they have no moral authority.

Four days to go make sure you vote and kick these crooks out,sending the clear message that whoever you elect will be subject to your scrutiny,and won’t be allowed to have their moat cleared on your backs.    

Friends and readers. We have received contact from a source at Waverley Court who confirms our suspicions that no action has been taken over the serial bullying which took place at the infamous Social Work Centre in Muirhouse.

Ever since Pilton Sucks through our associate George who broke the story some time ago there seems to have been a concerted cover up to protect the guilty.

We have now had that confirmed and our invitation to Director Peter Gabbitas still stands,we are prepared to hand over our full and detailed dossier of schocking behaviour to several members of staff,which includes pre-meditated targeting of victims and threats of violence.

Our revelations of serial bullying has opened up a can of worms,for so long swept under the carpet and ignored.

One of the victims told Pilton Sucks of threats of violence made to him by the bullys assistant,who has since escaped to the Dalkeith Social Work Centre.

We had confirmation of senior manager John Mules who first denied there was any bullying changing his mind and confirming bullying was a problem,and action was needed,of course none has yet been forthcoming.We have had employees across the city confirming they knew bullying was going on and that it seemed to be common knowledge. One member of staff in another district pointed out to Pilton Sucks that all any senior person had to do was to look at the high turnover in Community Service staff compared to the other districts to confirm that there was indeed a problem. Still no action.

our detailed dossier clearly points to systematic bullying over a long period,and points the finger at some senior staff who knew what was going on but refused to take action.

Piltons Sucks is alarmed that employees everywhere could fall victims to workplace bullying,and if the Muirhouse example was replicated victims would be left to their own devices without any kind of support.

If victims of jobsworth bullys raise the alarm then it falls on those in a position of authority to take all necessary action to remove the bully from the workplace.

How many victims does it take for the message to get through,workplace bullying and harassment is a crime by any other name and should be treated as such.

For the moment justice is clearly not being served by the great and the good of the Health and Social Care Department,whose attiude seems to be one of ignorance and denial.

 If the victims of serial bullying and harassment at this centre in Muirhouse are a snapshot of what can be expected if you raise the bullying alarm,then many more will suffer in silence,and that is just not on.

Friends and readers. Following our post yesterday on bullying,three Social Workers all employed within Criminal Justice have posted their support for a full scale outside investigation into the serial bullying allegations surrounding the Social Work Centre in Muirhouse.

It has been suggested to us that we raise an on-line petition to be sent to Director Peter Gabbitas,who has consistently ignored the serious concerns that have been raised by a number of people over bullying incidents.

Our anti workplace bullying campaign has raised awareness at Parliamentary level with a question recently asked about existing legislation and in house policies regarding work place bullying.

Pilton Sucks has now joined forces with two other campaigning groups to force legal binding legislation on this most hidden of workplace ills.

Senior managers have a duty to combat workplace bullying and not just to dismiss it as ‘A CULTURAL THING’

Pilton Sucks has recieved a large postbag on this issue some outlining their own situation,and many,some from suprising sources supporting our demand for a full scale outside independant investigation into the serial bullying that took place at the infamous Centre in Muirhouse.

It is now perfectly clear that several members of staff suffered at the hands of a bully,who has been allowed up to now to go unpunished,which speaks loudly about the lack of supervision and senior people who should have known better turning a blind eye to workplace bullying.

One of the Muirhouse victims now employed in another department told Pilton Sucks,that working life was miserable and painful while employed at the Centre in Muirhouse,and she told us that she has spoken openly about what she seen and experienced during her time at this centre.

Mr. Gabbitas now has an obligation to demand an open independent inquiry into the serious allegations within a department for which he has ultimate responsibility for.

Friends and readers. In the last 24 hours we received a named eye witness statement to serial bullying at the notorious Muirhouse Social Work Centre. This eye witness who is still employed as a senior worker told Pilton Sucks that,no action of any kind has yet been taken against the two criminals guilty of staff abuse.

This is a scandalous state of affairs that allows jobsworths bullys to go unpunished and continue to be a danger to staff.Our eye witness tells us that prior to leaving Muirhouse for another Social work centre it was common knowledge that bullying was taking place with several members of staff falling victim to abuse. At least three of whom are known to our eye witness complained but no action was taken.

It now appears that one of the victims was only employed for a very short time have been re-deployed from elsewhere. Our eye witness tells us that managers must have known what was going on,in their own words ‘they must have been blind and daft not to know what was going on’.

Pilton Sucks is still awaiting a reply to our open letter to Mr. Gabbitas,Health and Social Care Director.

Friends and readers. Our noble member of Parliament Mark-barbecue-Lazarowicz has published his expense claim in the Evening News. Our honourable member who we are told is so mean he can peel an orange in his pocket. Our honest MP is desperatly worried that his wafer thin majority is doing a vanishing act,so he has decided to come clean and convince the voters he’s clean.

Mr. meanie as he is known by some members of his constituency party regularly misses his round at the bar and slides off into a corner pleading poverty. New Town Mark whose wine cellar boasts the best plonk Tesco’s has got ,is we are told often in a world of his own when he can be bothered to attend local meetings and is bored by the very thought of having to mix with the plebs who helped him get elected.

But our Mark’s number could soon be up as the election fast approaches,and he will have to smile through gritted teeth as once again he has to venture out of his own cosy world into the real one where his constiuents are losing their jobs and homes and hope is fast fading that help is at hand. Pilton Sucks is like everyone else,disgusted at the greed of these MP’s. The voters will soon have their say and our Mark might have to bite the bullet and host a white wine and barbecue party for his less well heeled voters.

Friends and readers. As Spring slowly turns to summer and we all at last can turn our expensive heating down and keep the lights off at least until later on in the evening,our minds turn to the forth coming European Elections and in a small way to the local elections in England.

Labour could be savaged and rightly both at European and local level. Our MEP is a chap called David Martin who seems to have been around for ever and is again asking for your trust and more importantly your vote.

Can’t remember the last time Mr. Martin honoured us with his presence but we may have blinked and missed it. European constituencies are huge as is Mr. Martins majority which may go some way to telling us why he has not graced us with his presence and mixed with the mere mortals.

Interest in the European Elections traditionally does not get us all hot and bothered and into a frenzy,but this time might be different.

We all know our MEP’s have been milking it for years and no doubt Mr. Martin is no different,when was the last time he published his expences? or what he gets up to in our name.

It seems a long time ago when Mr. Martin was selected in a smoke filled room above Lawries Travel agents at the foot of Leith Walk,when the then Labour Councillor and candidate Neil Lindsay at least was honest enough to say he  was standing cause the wages were good.

Ah heady days indeed and a generation later Mr. Martin is still enjoying the trappings of an MEP.

Having moved from his original residence in Liberton to pastures new and more swanky,Mr. Martin has now got to go through the tiresome process of trying to get re-elected and rejoin his expence ladden buddies in Brussels.

We think it could be time for a change,and elect someone else,surely Mr. Martins pension is fully paid up and some of his European buddies will help him out if he hits hard times.

Not long now so contain your excitement until June 4th and make your vote count. A lot of our laws are now handed down by the faceless mandarines of Europe,for which there seems to be no accountability. So this is your chance for accountability.

As the saying goes,vote early vote often.    

Friends and readers. There is a very strong rumour circulating in the Community that an announcement is imminent on the future of Royston/Wardieburn Community Centre. We understand that a new Centre is to be built on the existing site,and the monies for such have been made available.

If this rumour is correct and we understand it is,then this is great news and will be much welcomed by the Community.

Pilton Sucks is nothing if not fair, and we understand that behind the scenes both Councillors Elaine Morris and Steve Cardownie have been pushing hard for such a result.

Therefore during this period of political sleaze from our MP’s we are happy to offer our praise to both of these Councillors for their work in securing this new Centre. Congratulations also go to the Centre’s management Committee who have campaigned for a new centre for quite some time.

So an excellent parnership between two local Councillors and the management committee,proving that not all politicians have their noses in the trough and in the cases of Councillors Morris and Cardownie they have gone some way to prove that elected members can get things done.

Friends and readers. From time to time a reader asks a question which puzzels us as well,so we throw it out into the wider Community to see if anyone else can come up with the answer.

Brian a local resident asked us if we knew what the North Edinburgh Trust did. Answer we don’t,does anybody else out there know?

We know that for a long time it was a Labour party dominated organisation,mabey it still is. It dosen’t seem to serve any useful purpose,but we are open to correction on that.

Based at the old Compass Centre it shares it’s premises with the Granton Youh Centre but that’s all we know.although in it’s previous life as the Pilton Partnership,questions were asked about why certain Community projects were favoured above others. It appeared to be a closed shop with a board of Directors making up the numbers,a number of whom worked or had interests in local Community projects. At the very least this was questionable,but what the hell their pals were in power and money was no object,and we all can see several local projects grew out of all proportion to the needs of the Community. They became power bases for the ruling elite,and the more money that was poured in the more powerful they became.

But times change and so do administrations,and ways of funding. Pilton Sucks points to the ill conceived meeting some time ago in the Prentice Centre which was facilitated by the Partnership and was the scene of threats condoned by the majority of the meeting,but did leave the minority disgusted at what went on.

Fast forward to The West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre and the Fairer Scotland Funding meeting which was supposed to be a public event.

What transpired was a meeting dominated by project workers,many of whom did not live in the area but did most of the shouting. We were told by a member of Stepping Stones that threats were made to anybody who spoke up and had a different opinion,we understand the police were informed about this incident.

Who orchastrated this event,strong rumour has it that the  North Edinburgh Trust played a major role in this disruptive meeting,as they watched their power base diminish.

Who knowes,that remains a closely guarded secret known only to the old pals act,a number of whom work in local Community projects and owe their positions to the previous administration.

So they you are Brian mabey someone will post in more information,and we will let you have it,until then we suggest you keep asking the questions,that nobody wants to answer.

As the MP’s expence scandal goes on the sheer greed and theft of these honourable members is mind numbing,our own less than honourable member,New Town resident Mark- I’ve done nothing wrong-Lazarowicz,tells us in Saturdays Daily Record,that people support him and don’t see why he should have to pay back anything at all.

It must be his white wine and barbecue mates that are telling hin that,because the rest of the voters are saying something different. The three Stooges,shagger Griffiths,Chancer Darling, and Closet Tory Lazarowicz are up to their necks in sleaze and greed while many of their constituents are suffering the pains of recession.

How many of Markie boys constituents can wangle expences to get their legal fees paid,not to many would be any educated guess,but Mark insists his punters support him,we wonder what his consituency party has to say about all this,or do they care.

Our New Town friend has worked a flanker and is now making up excuses to try and look innocent of any wrong doing.

His wafer thin majority is on the line and he should be ashamed of himself,but there is no chance of that as he try’s to justify out and out greed. With record house repocessions mounting job losses and further misery to come Mr. Lazarowicz who is supposed to represent one of the poorest communities in Scotland sit’s back and enjoys the finer things in life content to turn a blind eye to his own greed and ignore the plight of the poorest in his Constituency.

He is part of  Government that is falling apart and is destined for the scrap heap,will our honourable member suffer,why of course not,his well feathered nest will see him through the barren days.

Mr. Lazarowicz must go and either the voters or his silent constituency party should kick him out. 

Our high and mighty MP has become a joke as he scurries around denying any wrong doing,when most know he has had his nose firmly in the trough for a long time,only this time he has been caught,abusing the trust of the voters and the taxpayers money.

It’s not long now till a General Election and the people will have their say on who they think bests represents them,and not best represents themselves.

Our old mate,the white wine and barbecue lover Mark Lazarowicz,and MP for Edinburgh North and Leith,although he prefers his Stockbridge set has coughed up some dosh in the expences scandal which has seen Politicians sink even lower than they already are in the eyes of the public.

Markie boy has paid back over £2000 this after telling the hard pressed punters he is supposed to represent,he had done nothing wrong.

So what’s this then a donation out of the goodness of his heart,don’t think so.Markie whose majority is thinner than a cat walk model knowes he is under real threat and needed to make a gesture to ease critisism.

Bit like the cart before the horse,first he denied over claiming and tried to justify it,then he has a sudden change of heart and pay’s up.

Surely his dwindling Constituency party must be asking questions,about what he has been up to.

Like his pals,shagger Griffiths and chancer Darling thier noses have been firmly in the trough,and would have continued to be if this disgraceful greedy behaviour had not been made public.

An election is on the horizon and panic buttons are being pressed.Our mate Markie could find himself spending more time with his family,and his chattering class buddies. 

However our noble MP will fight to the death to keep his expence laden seat,how could he face his New Town chums,as an ex MP.
